Spam User?

I noticed that we have a new registered user and the url for the user is [Moderator Edit]

I would assume this a spam bot, I thought you had to register and respond to an email in order to became registered.

Am I wrong?

The account was not active yet. I actually have to approve all new accounts now. For some reason, phpBB actually creates the account and treats it just like a regular account, it is just not enabled. I have taken care of the account, thanks for the heads up.

I am supposed to get an email when new accounts are submitted, but not sure that the mail server is working on that box :).
