I posted a question about the jabber messaging protocol thing in the Q/A section, since then a link to a post with a mod to handle jabber has been posted.
Can we get that added to this site?

I will have to look into it and see what changes it is making. Since supposedly the new version of phpBB is going to include this (at least I think I saw that in the link). I don't want the mod to break anything.

yeah, broken would be bad. But they also seemed to indicate no one knew when phpBB 2.2.x was going to be released. Maybe that has changed now? I haven't looked.

Its actually not far from official status, in fact probably the next release.
